This policy covers the website at cosmic-dodge.tyrano.dev ("Cosmic Dodge", "the site"). It explains what the site stores, what it does not collect, and what third parties are involved.
The game keeps your ten best survival times in your browser's local storage, under the key
cosmic-dodge:scores. Each entry holds a duration in seconds and the date it was set. Nothing else.
This data stays on your device, is not readable by us, and is not sent anywhere.
You can delete it at any time with the Clear records button on the game-over screen, or by clearing site data in your browser settings. Clearing it also means your records are gone — there is no backup.
No name, no email address, no account, no login, no newsletter. We never ask you to identify yourself, and we do not upload your game records.
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-HZ0X26SK29) to understand how
many people visit and which pages they read. It sets cookies in your browser — typically named
_ga and _ga_<id> — so that repeat visits from the same browser are counted as
one visitor rather than several.
What is measured: pages viewed, the referring site or search engine, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic device and browser information such as screen size and language. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. We see aggregate reports only — never anything that identifies you personally, and we never connect analytics data to your saved game times, which stay on your device regardless.
You can opt out with Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, by blocking cookies for this site, or with any ad or tracker blocker. The game works exactly the same either way.
This site displays advertising through Google AdSense, operated by Google. To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may set cookies or use similar device identifiers, and may process data such as your IP address, browser and device information, and interactions with ads.
Google may use these cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google My Ad Center, and opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices. Ad categories. Gambling and betting, adult and sexually suggestive content, and dating categories are blocked in our ad settings. Ad inventory is nevertheless supplied by Google rather than by us, so if you ever see something that should not be here, tell us and we will block it.
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, a consent message is shown before advertising and analytics cookies are used, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time through that message.
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical request data — including IP addresses — in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
